Physical Therapy Exercise

What to Expect-
We're More Than Physical Therapists

Physical therapist administering therapeutic laser treatment to support pain relief and tissue healing.

Here are some important things to keep in mind:

  • Our team will verify your coverage with your insurance company before

your treatment begins. Please note that when we verify your insurance coverage, it is only a quote, not a guarantee that your provider will pay. We encourage you to call your insurance company to determine the exact benefits your plan provides.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in and allows clinicians to assess your point of pain. Sweatpants, gym shoes, and other workout attire are preferred.

  • Call us if you need directions or are running late so we can accommodate your needs. If transportation is a problem, reach out as there are some resources available depending on where you live.

  • When you arrive, check in with the front desk.

  • Provide valid photo identification (i.e., driver’s license, state ID, or

    passport) and your insurance card.

  • We track your progress to ensure that you meet your goals. To help us

guide your care, you will be asked to take our outcomes intake assessment, a series of questions to determine your current pain and functional level associated with your condition.

  • We encourage open communication between ourselves, other healthcare providers, patients, and families to enhance the recovery journey.

Your Condition and Follow-Up Treatment:

During your first physical therapy session, your therapist will ask detailed questions to determine your diagnosis and current condition. These questions help your therapist create a personalized treatment plan for you and map your recovery journey.

Depending on your diagnosis and condition, follow-up appointments may consist of:

  • Therapeutic exercises

  • Specialized techniques

  • Heat or cold therapy

  • Discussion of your home exercise progress

  • Ongoing education

Manual therapy is gentle, skilled, hands-on treatment used to release tight muscles, improve joint motion, and reduce pain. Our therapists use techniques like soft tissue work, stretching, and joint mobilization to help your body move more freely and comfortably. Manual therapy supports healing, improves alignment, and makes exercise more effective so progress feels easier and movement feels better.
