Founder & CEO
Leon Anderson, III
Leon is the founder, President, and CEO of Sports and Spine Physical Therapy, where he leads with over three decades of clinical, executive, and entrepreneurial experience. He is a recognized expert in orthopedic manual therapy, a seasoned health care executive, and a strong advocate for patient-centered care and community health advancement. Leon earned a Master of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (MOMT) from the Ola Grimsby Institute, a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from The Ohio State University. He has also completed advanced training at institutions including the HealthSouth Spine Center and Georgia State University. As CEO, Leon is responsible for strategic planning, business development, fiscal oversight, clinical leadership, and contract negotiation. He also provides expert consultation in orthopedic pathology and works closely with site coordinators to ensure clinical excellence. Leon’s leadership experience includes roles as Administrator at HealthSouth Spine Center, President of Centers for Rehabilitation, and Consultant for SI-Bone. He has held multiple national committee positions, including with CAPTE, FSBPT, and the Mid American Rehab Network, and has served as President of the American Academy of Physical Therapy. A frequent speaker, writer, and mentor, Leon remains committed to advancing the profession through education, diversity, and evidence-based care.

Shannon Gale
Shannon has been a licensed physical therapist since 2008 and has been a valued member of Sports and Spine Physical Therapy since 2011. She completed a residency at the Ola Grimbsby Institute (OGI). Her clinical interests include orthopedic and spine rehabilitation, and her approach to care is focused on identifying the root cause of pain and dysfunction. Shannon uses a combination of exercise, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities to restore mobility and improve function in daily life. She is committed to helping each patient move better, feel better, and live better.

Dr. Andrew Jakuszeit
Andrew is a dedicated and highly trained physical therapist with a strong foundation in both clinical expertise and compassionate care. He earned his Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from Lorain County Community College, followed by a Bachelor’s in Health Science from Cleveland State University, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Findlay. Andrew has been a valued team member at Sports and Spine Physical Therapy for over nine years, growing from a front desk associate and aide to PTA, and now a licensed PT. His clinical interests include orthopedics, manual therapy, aquatics, sports medicine, and neurological rehabilitation. He has completed clinical rotations in leading hospitals across these specialties, enriching his approach with real-world, high-level experience. Andrew believes in caring for the individual first, taking time to perform thorough evaluations and craft personalized care plans that address each patient's unique goals and challenges. He is a proud member of both the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), reflecting his ongoing commitment to excellence and evidence-based care.

Dr. Amanda Keil
Amanda is a dedicated physical therapist with a passion for helping active individuals stay strong, mobile, and pain-free. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and has spent her entire 7-year career with Sports and Spine Physical Therapy, serving the Columbus community. Amanda specializes in treating “weekend warriors,” individuals who balance work, family, and fitness, by helping them recover from injuries and prevent future setbacks so they can continue doing what they love. Her approach is personalized and patient-focused, tailoring each plan of care to the individual’s unique deficits, goals, and lifestyle. Amanda is known for her attentive, one-on-one care and her ability to motivate patients toward meaningful progress.

Dr. Rahsan McMillan
Rahsan brings a strong foundation in both fitness and rehabilitation to his role as a physical therapist. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Winston-Salem State University and holds a degree in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University. Prior to entering the physical therapy field, Rahsan worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor at Wells Fargo CIC, where he developed a passion for helping individuals reach their physical potential. Rahsan is a certified ACSM Exercise Physiologist and an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). His combined clinical and fitness background allows him to take a dynamic, performance-based approach to rehab, helping patients recover safely and return to active, healthy lives.

Dr. Jamie Meyers
Jamie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Cincinnati. She is a Certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist with a strong clinical focus in vestibular and balance disorders, concussion, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, chronic pain, post-operative care, orthopedic injuries, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. Jamie’s treatment approach focuses on the whole person by addressing physical, mental, and emotional health. Her goal is to help patients return to the activities that bring them joy. She has experience working in hospital, outpatient, and specialty clinic settings and has served as a Clinical Director. Jamie is passionate about empowering her patients through education, personalized care, and lasting recovery.

Angela Wesley
Angela is a seasoned physical therapist with over 23 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient care, and home health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and is proud to be OGI trained. She brings a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and hands-on skill to our practice. Angela’s clinical focus is in orthopedic rehabilitation and she is known for her thoughtful, patient-centered care. Her philosophy is simple yet powerful: “Every patient who walks through our door is met with respect, compassion, and individualized attention.” She is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where trust can flourish and healing can occur. Her goal is always to restore function, reduce pain, and help each patient return to the life they love. Angela is a proud member of the American Academy of Physical Therapy (AAPT) and continues to stay engaged in advancing her skills and supporting her professional community.

Dr. Leslie Wilson
Leslie is a highly skilled physical therapist with advanced training in orthopedic care. She holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and is both a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). With over 12 years of experience, Leslie brings expertise, leadership, and a deep commitment to patient care. Her clinical interests include orthopedics, TMJ disorders, trigger point therapy, dry needling, and rehabilitation for dancers. Leslie takes an individualized, whole-person approach, emphasizing education, empowerment, and long-term well-being. She works closely with each patient to address the root causes of pain, restore function, and improve quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based care.

Jason Eyler
Jason has over 30 years of experience in physical therapy. He is a seasoned clinician and the Site Coordinator at our Vantage Aquatics location. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree with a specialty in aquatics and his clinical focus includes orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, and aquatic therapy. Known for her patient-centered approach, Jason believes in the philosophy: “We have two ears and one mouth for a reason.” He prioritizes active listening, individualized treatment plans, and fosters a compassionate environment where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their recovery journey. Jason combines deep clinical knowledge with a warm, encouraging demeanor that motivates patients both in and out of the water.

Joseph Foster
Joe brings over 12 years of clinical experience to Sports and Spine Physical Therapy, where he is known for his creative approach, sharp clinical skills, and unwavering attention to detail. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree and specializes in orthopedic and spine rehabilitation, as well as sports injury recovery. Joe’s approach to care is grounded in the belief that every patient is unique and his goal is to deliver personalized, focused treatment that supports each individual's goals and lifestyle. Whether he's helping an athlete return to play or guiding a patient through post-surgical rehab, Joe combines clinical expertise with thoughtful problem-solving to deliver exceptional results.
