Manual Therapy
Manual Therapy is a discipline within a broader field of Orthopedic Physical Therapy focusing on a “hands on” approach to treatment. This clinical approach utilizes specific techniques including but not limited to soft tissue and joint mobilization. Manual Therapy is used for the purpose of modulating pain, increasing range of motion, inducing relaxation, improving contractile and non-contractile tissue repair, facilitating movement and improving function.
